This 1906 home's kitchen was updated with an affordable, yet dramatic facelift by using a little creativity. The lower cabinets were painted with a durable, high gloss paint and the upper cabinets were replaced with a discount set found by the homeowner. Skimstone was applied to the countertops to give the look and feel of stone without the demolition and the tile floors were mixed and matched. The walls were done in a heavy texture with tinted glaze.The homeowners splurged on boxed beams custom fabricated with reclaimed lumber, a tile backsplash, and period stye lighting to give their kitchen a unique and fresh feel that left them with money for new appliances.

This kitchen is a perfect example of conserving time, money and the environment by having our skilled team of craftsmen re-work the existing cabinets and create a whole new look for this kitchen. The lower cabinets had been replaced at some point in the home's history so we custom made new cabinet doors to match the existing upper cabinets which were original. The Italian glass tile back splash adds beautiful detail, while easy to clean Marmoleum and recessed lighting give the end product a finished look. Benches with storage inside were custom made and a table was built to the owner's design to create a cozy eating nook.

This kitchen was a complete remodel. It was gutted from floor to ceiling and turned out beautifully. Granite slab countertops, custom cabinets, and a lovely tile backsplash were all chosen by the homeowner and installed by us and our associates to give her the kitchen of her dreams.
